Cobra Strike is a recurring Knife skill in the Dragon Quest series that attempts to inflict an enemy with Envenomation.
Appearances
Dragon Quest X
Cobra Strike can be learned by Thieves, Minstrels, and Dancers by allocating 58 skill points into the Knives skill. It costs 1 MP to use, deals an extra 10% damage, and has a 50% chance to inflict Envenomation.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age
Cobra Strike can be learned by Erik and Sylvando through the Knives panel in their character builders for 7 skill points and 13 skill points respectively. It costs 3 MP to use, deals 120% damage to a single enemy, and has a 50% chance to envenom them. The rate of inflicting envenomation can be increased with the Nastier Knives skill. On the enemy side, it can be used by Golden Boy.
Dragon Quest Walk
Cobra Strike can be learned by Rangers at Level 10, as well as from various weapons. It costs 5 MP to use, deals 130% slashing damage to a single enemy, and has a chance to inflict poison.
