Appearances
Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation

It costs 4 MP and has a 25% chance to instantly kill the target, dealing 50% damage if the trick fails. Incredibly the skill ignores the affects of Dazzle and Sandstorm, as well as that of Oomph, Attack Attacker, Sap, & Kasap.
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation
Pressure Pointer tries to inflict a fatal strike; if it fails it deals 50% melee damage instead. It can be learned by advancing to rank 6 of the Martial Artist vocation.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past
Learned in the same way as VI and functions identically.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
Pressure Pointer is used by death scorpions.
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
This ability is learned with 22 skill points invested into Spear skill. Unlike before, the skill now has a fixed slay rate of 1/8th, meaning the skills can work just fine on metal slimes.
