Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies[edit | edit source]
This ability is learned with 21 skill points allocated into Wand skill. Each strike has a 25% chance to paralyze a demon for 4~6 turns.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit | edit source]
Beelzefreeze is classified as a heavy wand ability, but functions identically as it did previously. Veronica and Serena will learn the skill for 4 points, and Rab for only 3.
Battle Visuals[edit | edit source]
Etymology[edit | edit source]
Beelze is derived from the name Beelzebub, a famous demon of the New Testament chapters of the Christian Bible. It is thought that the name was an alteration originally used by the Hebrews in mocking reference to the Canaanite god Ba'al.
