Appearances[edit | edit source]

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies[edit | edit source]

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]

Metalicker can be learned by Minstrels, Rangers, Sages, Item Masters, Gadabouts, Pirates, and Hermits by allocating 13 skill points into their Boomerang skill. It costs 4 MP to use, has a range of 8 meters, and deals the same amount of damage as a normal attack on the target and all enemies within range. It inflicts a fixed 1~2 damage on metal slimes.

Dragon Quest X Offline[edit | edit source]

Metalicker can be learned by the Hero as a Ranger, Sage, or Gadabout through the Boomerangs panel in their Character Builder for 3 skill points. It costs 4 MP to use and deals non-elemental physical damage to all enemies, inflicting a fixed 1~2 damage on metal slimes. The damage can be increased further through skill up panels, including the amount of fixed damage that is dealt to metal slimes.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit | edit source]

Metallicker can be learned by Erik through the Boomerangs panel in his Character Builder for 7 skill points. It costs 3 MP to use and is unaffected by the monsters' evasion rate. In the 3D versions of the game, the skill will still land even if Erik is affected by Dazzle.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • In the original Japanese, Metalicker shares a name, Metal Wing (メタルウィング, Metaruuingu?), with the Metal wing boomerang weapon.
