Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake edit
Propeller Blade costs 3 MP to use and deals roughly 20% more damage than a normal attack to a single enemy, followed by additional damage. The ability can only be learned by the Prince of Midenhall by using the Propeller Blade Scroll, which can be picked up from a sparkly spot northeast of Moonahan. It can be performed with any weapon equipped.

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake edit
Propeller Blade can be learned by Thieves starting at level 9 if their Wisdom exceeds 18. It strikes twice, first a Strike-element physical attack at 115% damage and the second a Wind-elemental attack calculated as ((Level + 4) + / - 0~20%), and costs 3 MP to use. Unlike other games in the series, the skill can be used with any weapon.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King edit
In the Nintendo 3DS version, Propeller Blade can be learned by Morrie by investing 9 skill points into his Claw skill and costs no MP to use. It deals extra damage to a single enemy based on his level. Unlike other games in the series, the extra damage is not Woosh-elemental.
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies edit
Propeller Blade can be learned by allocating 3 skill points into the Claw skill. The second blow damage is calculated as ((Level + 4) + / - 0~20%) and deals wind-elemental damage.

| Slices through a single enemy like a swirling whirlwind.[2] |
Dragon Quest X edit
Propeller Blade can be learned by Martial Artists, Monster Wranglers, Rangers, and Thieves, by allocating 3 skill points into their Claw skill, and costs 3 MP to use. It is a two-stage attack that deals twice the damage of a normal attack on the first, then a second strike that deals a fixed amount of damage.
- In the Offline version of the game, the skill can be learned by the main character in the aforementioned vocations and Mjoll through the Claws panel in their Character Builders for one skill point. The first blow of the attack deals twice the damage of a normal attack, while the second blow's damage is now calculated as ((Level + 5) x 0.8~1.0). The damage can be increased further with skill-up panels in the Character Builder.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age edit
Jade and Rab can learn the skill through the Claws panel on their Character Builders for 4 points. The first blow inflicts Wind-elemental damage based on the user's Attack, followed by a second blow that inflicts Wind-elemental damage equal to the user's level, costing 2 MP to use.
Dragon Quest Walk edit
Propeller Blade can be learned from various claws and costs 3 MP to use. It slashes an enemy with blades of wind, dealing 65% potency Woosh-type damage twice for a total of 130% damage.
Dragon Quest Tact edit
Propeller Blade is known naturally by Great sabrecub at level 1 and can be learned by Clockwork cuckoo at level 14, costing 3 MP to use. It inflicts 136% potency Woosh-type physical damage to a single enemy.
