Sinister Stab is a skill that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact. It is one of the Death scorpion's signature abilities, delivering a powerful shadowy sting from its tail while moving itself backwards at the same time.

Sinister Stab can be learned by Death scorpion at level 44 and costs 64 MP to use. It inflicts 250% potency Zam-type physical damage to all enemies in a small fan-shaped area of effect in front of it and moves itself backwards up to two spaces. Upgrading the skill increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to use.
