Raining Splats and Blobs is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series. It is the Slime stack's signature ability where it leaps into the air, splits itself up, and slams down into enemies with the various slimes that make it up.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies[edit | edit source]
Raining Splats and Blobs is an enemy-only skill that can only be used by Slime stacks. It inflicts 12~23 non-elemental damage to the entire party. The damage can only be reduced by defending or being in a state of Super High Tension.
Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
Raining Splats and Blobs appears once again as an enemy-only skill that can be used by Slime stacks.
Dragon Quest Tact[edit | edit source]
Slime Shower can be learned by Slime stack at level 20 and costs 60 MP to use. It has a range of three squares in front of it and inflicts moderate typeless martial damage to all enemies in a plus sign-shaped area of effect, occasionally lowering their Martial Res for three turns, as well.
