Thunder Break is a skill that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact. It is one of the Royal reptile's signature abilities, sending out a powerful X-shaped burst of lightning at the ground in front of it to electrocute a group of enemies.

Thunder Break can be learned by Royal reptile through Talent Blossoming and costs 64 MP to use. It inflicts 290% potency Zap-type physical damage to all enemies in a X-shaped area of effect in front of it and has a chance to lower their Zap Res for three turns, as well. Upgrading the skill increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to use.
