Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit | edit source]
The Hero can use Power Throw as a boomerang technique after investing 18 skill points into the associated skill. After investing 52 skill points, it is replaced by the much stronger Super Throw.
- In the 3DS Version, Morrie learns Power Throw after investing 18 skill points into Boomerangs, as well. It is upgraded into Super Throw after investing 66 skill points.

This ability is learned with 7 skill points invested into Boomerang skill and costs 4 MP to use.
