Dazzleflash is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.

It attempts to blind the target party and will reduce their accuracy to 58 (62.5%), making it slightly less effective per enemy in exchange for it's wider range. Typically, the effects last for 1~2 turns.

Appearances[edit | edit source]

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen[edit | edit source]

Dazzleflash is used by demon thunderers and scarewells in the remakes.

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride[edit | edit source]

Dazzleflash is learned by several monster companions such as the drackies and men o' war. In its debut the skill is virtually identical to Dazzle and causes the same effects for a 1~2 turns.

Name Level

It is used by the enemies bloodcreepers, grrrgoyles, killer moths, devil glasses, haunted mirrors, infernal panes, and Murdaw.
