The Blue Orb is a key item in Dragon Quest III and several other titles in the series.
It is one of the six legendary orbs.

The Blue Orb is required to hatch Ramia, and it is located in a treasure chest within the Gaia's Navel dungeon just north of the town of Lanson in the south seas.

The Blue Orb reappears in Dragon Quest IX as a very exotic alchemy ingredient, used for some of the highest alchemy recipes. It is a rare drop from Nimzo, Orgodemir, and (at certain level ranges) Nokturnus Legacy Bosses.

The Blue Orb is a royal treasure of Sniflheim. It can be gained in any order in relation to the Purple and Silver Orbs, but it is meant to be the last orb acquired.
